A Summer Book-Club
at The Bower

I am having a lovely time plotting and planning the whens and hows of our Summer Book-Club. I think what I would like to do is take a chapter a week, beginning on Wednesday the 2nd of July. Each Wednesday, I will post my thoughts and reactions to the chapter and then you may share yours in the comment section. You might want to tick the little box at the bottom of the comment page that will set you up to receive emails when there are more comments. Alternatively, you might want to just check in once a week for a good read....with some wine and cheese....coffee and brownies....tea and scones?

If you have a blog and ever post your thoughts about a chapter of the book there, please leave a link to it in the comment section. I would love to have a "traveling" aspect to the book club and visit some new (or familiar) places on the Web. And if you would like to post this little button link on your own blog.

It is my hope to also be able to share some of Anne Morrow Lindbergh's story. Especially anything I discover that compliments the themes of this book-women's lives, family, balance, examining-and other riches I have forgotten because it has been so long since I read Gift from the Sea!

I envision this slow reading and pondering as something cool and nourishing that we can sip from all Summer and that will refresh us for that other New Year that begins in September.
